AmarokProg Pas de critique de The Kick Inside de Kate Bush pour le moment...   Koid9  08/06/2006 Note : 9.0 Titre : Nouvelle esthétique Sans doute à l'écoute de "The kick inside", le non-initié sera triplement surpris par : 1) une voix riche, à la fois haute et enfantine, capable de gravir 4 octaves ; 2) l'omniprésence du piano, instrument fétiche d'une adolescente prodige ; 3) un environnement instrumental offrant un rock étrange, teinté à la fois d'élégants arrangements classiques et de sonorités exotiques. Avec ce premier disque, Kate Bush frappe fort. Son ovni ou plutôt son cerf-volant - qu'elle tient accrochée de ses bien maigres mains - sur la pochette atterrit à une période musicale plutôt déprimante (fumisterie punk, pop synthétique, new wave bon teint).
