Nouvel album pour Neal Morse à placer dans la sérié prêchi-prêcha. "Mighty To Save" sera ainsi le cinquième opus de la série Worship Sessions... "For the first time, Neal doesn't only play drums on the whole album all by himself, he even sings selected songs in German. With a total playing time of 75 minutes the CD is a feature-length worship experience that makes you think, gives peace and calls to worship. This is ensured above all by the terrific song selection on the disc. Among the 13 tracks there are Christian hits as the title-giving "Mighty To Save" by Hillsong or "Heiliger Geist (komm wirke unter uns)" and "O Herr, gieße Ströme des lebendigen Wassers aus", both composed by the famous German musician Albert Frey. True addiction is the opener "How He Loves Us", in which Neal shares the verses with his children. "Fall On Me" should have become known in Germany mainly by Lothar Kosse's interpretation. Neal has written only four songs this time: "Only What You Do For Christ", "Let Us Worship", "The Center" and "Hosanna". The first two are typical Neal Morse uptempo tracks with a catchy chorus. "The Center" and "Hosanna" are just the opposite: quiet, contemplative, highly traditional songs, which help the listener to escape from daily life to re-sort himself internally. They radiate warmth and peace in the purest form. Wonderful! The absolute highlight of the disc is the "Revelation Song", originally written by Jennie Lee Riddle. Guest singer Julie Harrison, for years an integral part of Neal's worship tours and related albums, enchants the listener once again with her absolutely clear, bright and brilliant beguiling voice.
