Les vocalistes 11 et 12 du prochain projet AYREON seront... Phideaux Xavier et Floor Jansen ! "Arjen discovered the music of vocalist Phideaux (USA) a few years back, only to discover he was a member of the Ayreon Yahoo Groups list. It was only a matter of time before Arjen would enlist Phideaux for vocal duties on Ayreon. More on Phideaux on the official MySpace site and their website. Right before she embarked on an extensive tour with her band After Forever, Floor Jansen once again recorded vocals at the Electric Castle. Most Ayreonauts will know Floor from the Star One albums, and the Universal Migrator Part 1: The Dream Sequencer. You can find out more about Floor at her MySpace and After Forever's Official Website. Vocalist Number 13 has just been confirmed this afternoon as being Steve Lee of Gotthard. The sound sample can still be found HERE. Yep, it's Steve Lee alright. Damned, I thought maybe this time it would take you longer to get it, but no... I'm very proud having Steve on the album. Not only is he a great singer and a very nice person, but this is also the first time he has ever agreed to guest on someone elses album, despite loads of bands asking him! Gotthard are huge in their homecountry Switzerland, every album (9 so far) has gone platinum over there! I met Steve about 18 years ago, when he came to a Vengeance show we played in Italy. He gave me a cassette (yeah, the good old days) of his first band and his singing blew me away. He stayed at my place back then to work on songs and there was a chance of him joining Vengeance in 1989 but somehow it never materialized. I've been trying to get him on previous albums but he was always way too busy with the successful Gotthard. But now we finally worked together and it was a huge success as I expected, hope you will enjoy it as much as I do."
