KARNATAKA apparaîtra au festival Vibes From The Vines qui se tiendra le samedi 12 août 2006 prochain. La tête d'affiche sera Gary Moore & Guests. Le groupe vient également d'annoncer l'arrivée de deux nouveau membres : Louie Palmer (batterie) et Adam Fox (guitare). Voici l'annonce officielle : It's been an eventful few months during which time Ian has relocated from Swansea to London. "...It's an exciting time for the band and the move now means we can spend much more time working together as a unit. It has been exceptionally busy (even by my standards!), with a lot of time being devoted to Chasing The Monsoon (news updates coming soon) moving home and studio up the M4! The move to London earlier this year and the time out from the band has been an opportunity for all concerned to reappraise the situation. Nick and Alquimia are talented musicians with distinct styles, however over a period of time we all felt we were pulling in different directions. It was mutually agreed that Nick and Alquimia would no longer play a role in Karnataka and instead focus on their solo careers. Due to Bob's commitments he has had little opportunity to play an active role in the band and with Karnataka ready to move forward and Bob unable to devote time, we had no option but to audition for a new drummer." "The result of this frenetic activity is we now have two great additions to the band. Introducing on drums Louie Palmer and on lead guitar Adam Fox!...." Ian
