Une histoire entrée dans le folklore américain pour ce qu’elle eut de dérisoire, brutale, de funeste et tragique. Cette vendetta entre les familles Hatfield et McCoy a même pris le triste avantage en terme de scénario, d’une réalité qui dépasse la fiction, tant le bras de fer qui déchira les deux familles entre 1863 et 1891 failli rebasculer la nation. Pour leur quatrième album, la bande à Kevin Costner (producteur et acteur de ce triple téléfilm encensé par la critique) a donc assuré la bande originale, au risque de paraître auto-complaisant, mais en prenant soin de s’éloigner de leur songwriting effic ...
