Quelques nouvelles du groupe BEYOND THE LABYRINTH : "03/10 - ... as the actors leave the play ... In the short time span of 48 hours, lead guitar player Frederic Ost, singer Jo De Boeck and bass player Bart Rokegem have announced that they will be leaving Beyond The Labyrinth. Fréderic has gotten an offer from Manic Movement to join them, and after this news, Jo decided to take a step back ...followed by Bart Rokegem.... All three of them are involved in (cover band) Sister Madly, and (feature band) Echelon and will be continuing together in those bands. The 03/11 (Gent) and 17/12 (Spirit of 66, Verviers) shows will be the last ones they will be playing, and the last opportunity you will get to see Beyond the Labyrinth live, in this line-up. After december 17th, the rest of the band will continue the preproduction for "Castles In The Sand", the follow-up album for "Signs". It is currently undetermined who and if will replace both of them., however, the rest of the band is determined to release this sophomore album and continue. Of course, one cannot simply "replace" team members that have brought and given so much of theirselves to the band, and it is with great sadness that we see them leave. Both Fréderic and Jo were in the band since early 2001, and Bart joined us end of 2004.We wish them luck with their future ventures, maybe one day the world will have the opportunity to hear the -as yet still unfinished- Echelon abum, or maybe you can catch them live with Sister Madly. We will start auditions as soon as possible. Which was followed a few days later by: 07/10 - Open Positions As indicated by the previous news item, Beyond The Labyrinth is looking for : a new singer and a new bass player.
