Nous voici un an à peine après SMPTe, premier essai copieux et archi-concluant de vrais-faux nouveaux venus de Transatlantic. Le temps nécessaire pour lancer une suite attendue pour lÂ’exploration en profondeur des forces en présence : Neal Morse au chant et claviers, Mike Portnoy derrière les fûts, Pete Trewavas sur sa basse et le sémillant Roine Stolt pour les guitares. À la pesée, Bridge Across Forever joue de facto dans la catégorie poids lourd. Côté reproches, la formation avait donc essuyé les plâtres sur le précédent opus avec un Neal Morse jugé omniprésent sur les compositions, le chant, les claviers, la productionÂ… La réponse appellera un album passionnant ...
